MARI (Seas) is the catalogue accompanying the exhibition of the same name, bringing together more than one hundred fine art photographs dedicated to the relationship between humanity and the sea.
The project explores coastlines as spaces of transition — between land and water, permanence and change, human presence and natural forces. Harbors, open seas, and coastal settlements become stages where labor, travel, memory, and solitude intersect.
Moving beyond geographic boundaries, MARI approaches the sea as a universal element: a shared horizon that connects cultures, economies, and histories. Through a contemplative visual language, the photographs reflect on the sea as both a physical environment and a symbolic space — at once a source of sustenance, a route of passage, and a place of reflection.
Conceived as a fine art body of work, MARI (Seas) invites the viewer to engage with the maritime world not through narrative alone, but through atmosphere, rhythm, and visual resonance.
